My mission focuses on positive responses to life’s challenges.
My mission is for my clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs and to be able to develop a plan to process various dynamics and achieve a healthier way to respond to life changes.
Therapy is about finding empowerment.
By engaging in therapy with me, clients become at ease and feel comfortable in a safe space, where they learn how to develop emotionally healthy responses in dealing with life stressors and adversity.
My style of therapy can be classified as person-centered. I believe in an empathetic approach that empowers and motivates clients in a more therapeutic process.
I ask clients to be open to the therapeutic process to achieve outcomes that we both develop together.
Supporting others is my passion.
Who am I? I am a therapist who is passionate about clients achieving a level of satisfaction in their life that allows them peace of mind.
Here are my credentials.
I attended Eastern Illinois University; in 1996, I earned my M.S.Ed in counseling. Then in 2017, I earned my Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) from Capella University. Educating myself on how to best transform hurt and pain into forgiveness and peace of mind has always been my mission and incorporated into my daily practice.
An interesting fact about me is…
…that I find great joy and honor to participate in the journey to peace of mind. It gives me great fulfillment to see others excel.
Favorite quote is…
“The greatest power that a person possesses is the power to choose.”
