What brings you to therapy
Watching your child struggle is one of the hardest things a parent can experience, especially when your child cannot find the words to explain what they are feeling. You want to step in and help, but nothing seems to work. Whether it is anxiety, grief, or anger making life harder at home, the helplessness can feel overwhelming. You are exhausted, and every day brings more uncertainty. You may even find yourself questioning whether you have done something wrong or wondering if things will ever get better.
This pain is not something you just get over.
It is time to slow down, name what is happening, and begin healing together. The work ahead will explore your child’s emotional world and find ways to bring peace back into your home. Along the way, clarity will come, strength will return, and a deeper understanding of your child’s needs will begin to take shape.
Today is the day you take back control.
Healing is possible, and your child deserves to feel at peace. Together, the hard things will be faced, the weight that has been dragging your family down will begin to lift, and real emotional balance is within reach. No one should have to do this alone. Reach out today and take the first step toward a brighter future for your family.
Healing for you. Healing for your child. Healing for your family.
Specializing in working with kids, teens, and families,
I offer support for anxiety, depression, grief, behavioral challenges, and emotional regulation. Using approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and play therapy, we will explore patterns, uncover what is driving the struggle, and build a clear path toward healing and growth. Every plan is tailored to your child and your family’s needs. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Walden University, and I am a Basic Trained EMDR Therapist and an Intermediate Level Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. My background at Mindful Wellness Counseling includes both clinical case management and administrative work, where I have helped clients navigate care needs, insurance, and individualized treatment plans. I also bring years of experience in healthcare and client advocacy through my work at Blue Cross Blue Shield.
An interesting thing about me is…
I am a wife and mother of five and a proud advocate for Autism Awareness. Serving my community is something I care deeply about. When going to therapy became a trend in our community in 2021, it was my favorite thing to witness. So many people who had been quietly struggling finally felt safe enough to ask for help. Being part of this field means everything to me.
My favorite saying is…
“Instead of letting your hardships and failures discourage or exhaust you, let them make you even hungrier to succeed.”
