When your child is struggling,
it can be hard to know where to turn. You want to help, but the right words never seem to come, and the distance between you and your child keeps growing. Whether it is emotional outbursts, withdrawal, difficulty at school, or just a sense that something is off, the worry can feel constant. You are doing everything you can, and it still does not feel like enough.
Your child does not have to figure this out alone.
And neither do you. The right support can make a real difference, not just for your child but for your whole family. In a safe, welcoming space built on honesty and openness, healing becomes possible. The tools your child builds here are ones they will carry with them for life.
It starts with one step.
Reaching out is the hardest part. Once you do, the work begins, and that work can change everything. Take that step today toward a brighter future for your child and your family.
With over 20 years of experience serving communities,
I bring deep roots in advocacy, restorative practice, and human connection to the therapy room. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Illinois and earned my Bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University Illinois and my graduate degree in Social Services from Chicago State University. My approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy, a framework that prioritizes safety, respect, and a non-judgmental space where clients can show up exactly as they are. I specialize in working with adolescents ages 7 to 10, weaving in engaging activities, thought-provoking discussions, and interactive games to support self-expression and emotional growth. My goal is not just to help clients manage challenges, but to equip them with real, practical tools they can carry into everyday life.
An interesting thing about me is…
One of my true passions is mediation, helping people find common ground, especially when conflict feels impossible. Outside of the office, you will find me hosting gatherings, singing karaoke, and doing what I do best: bringing people together. I believe in lifelong growth and hold myself to the same standard I encourage in every client.
My favorite saying is…
“What defines us is not when we fall, but how we rise after we have fallen.”
