What brings you to therapy
A lot of what people struggle with lives underneath the surface. Anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship stress, identity shifts, and major life transitions often affect not only the mind, but the body, relationships, and everyday patterns. My goal is to help you slow things down, understand what is really happening beneath the surface, and build tools that support healing, clarity, and long-term change.
Blending skills with insight
My approach blends clinical training with grounded human connection. I draw from modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), somatic work, parts work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic CBT, mindfulness, and reflective practices. Together, we explore patterns, emotional wounds, protective strategies, and the experiences shaping how you move through life.
Specializing in emotional and spiritual challenges
I believe healing can honor both evidence-based practice and deeper personal meaning. Some people come into therapy feeling emotionally overwhelmed, spiritually exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in survival mode for so long that they no longer recognize who they are underneath it. Our work creates space to slow down, reflect honestly, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels grounded, meaningful, and real.
Here are my credentials
I hold both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Walden University, where my graduate training included an embedded trauma certificate. My training includes trauma-informed care, somatic work, parts work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic CBT, mindfulness, and nervous system-focused approaches. I am currently continuing advanced training in Somatic Experiencing while working toward independent clinical licensure.
An interesting thing about me is…
Outside of therapy, I am a writer and lifelong creative. My background in music, spirituality, storytelling, and personal healing continues to shape how I connect with people and understand transformation.
My favorite saying is…
Healing begins when you stop going to war with yourself.
